We are an independent, Bible-preaching and believing Baptist church, affiliated with Baptist Bible Fellowship International.  Our church is located in the heartland of orchard country in central Washington township, a northern suburb of Detroit, and just south of Romeo, Michigan. 

First Baptist is a community of believers committed to learning the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the whole of God’s Word; leading others to know Him; being effective ambassadors for Jesus Christ in the community and reaching the world as His witnesses through missions; living in the power and love of our resurrected lives through His grace and mercy; and loving each other in community, ministering effectively and lovingly to one another in our church family.
